Genesee Veterinary Hospital

Meet The Team

Dr Laura Lederman

Dr. Lederman was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Fl. From a young age, Dr. Lederman felt the calling to become a Veterinarian. She graduated from Ross University after completing her clinical training at Auburn University.  Dr. Lederman’s love for the cold weather and mountain culture brought her and her family to Colorado in 2018. They reside in Golden with their two children and two dogs, Ollie and Mila.  In her spare time I enjoy hiking, skiing, and spending time at her second home, Target.

Maria Reyes

Hospital Manager

I began my career in veterinary medicine in 1983 as a kennel assistant and worked my way up to hospital administrator. I graduated from St. Petersburg college with an AS in Veterinary Technology and am now a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT). I have returned to school for my Certified Practice Manager degree. I live in Jasper Florida where I manage GVH remotely. I have loved animals as long as I can remember and now have a farm. I have dogs, cats, chickens, birds (Frank, my Eclectus is in the picture), and a steer that I raised by hand 14 years ago. We all live on 30 acres where we frequently see deer and turkey. I am excited to be part of the new team at Genesee Veterinary Hospital.

Grace Lawler

Client Service Representative

Grace is a Colorado native that was born and raised in Lakewood. She has worked in customer service for 3+ years and looks forward to greeting every client and furry friend that walks through the front door! She currently lives with her cat, Cali, and in her free time enjoys photography, crocheting, and “nerding out” while creating costumes for comic book conventions.

Alex Lederman

I was born and raised in South Florida and never enjoyed the heat, hurricanes, sand, or mosquitoes. In 2018, we relocated to Denver to pursue the quintessential Colorado lifestyle. I have a 10+ year background in digital and traditional marketing. When not working, I’m either mountain biking, skiing, running, hiking with Oliver, or hanging out with my two human kiddos, Ashton and Penelope. There is a high probability that you may bump into me on the chair at Loveland. Occasionally, I can be found at the clinic working up-front or checking your pet in for their appointment.
